Managing Director

Anthony Roche became Managing Director for North Hertfordshire District Council on 18 July 2020. He was previously the council’s Deputy Chief Executive from November 2017.

Anthony joined the council as an Assistant Solicitor in May 2008 and was subsequently promoted to Senior Lawyer. He then became Acting Corporate Legal Manager and Monitoring Officer in May 2012 and, after a year’s sabbatical spent travelling the world, was made permanent in those roles in August 2014, positions he held for more than three years before being appointed Deputy Chief Executive.
