North Hertfordshire Museums is the service that provides not only displays in the council's two museums but also a range of activities both in the museums and out in the community.

On display in the Archaeology Gallery:
The woman and three babies featured on BBC's History Cold Case. A small display giving the results of the investigations and lots more information about these bodies and how they came to be in the ground.

As museum staff prepare the collections for the move to a new museum, visitors have the opportunity to see the work that goes on, find out what the museum service has in its collection, and put forward their thoughts about new displays. There will be the chance to see staff at work behind the scenes on most Thursdays and Fridays. |
