BVPI General Survey 2006 - Key Findings
The table below shows how North Hertfordshire District Council performed in BVPI General Survey 2006 compared with the other 9 district councils that make up Hertfordshire as well as our 15 nearest neighbours. The table also shows whether North Hertfordshire District Council (NHDC) performance against the indicators detailed above was in the top, second, third or bottom quartile. Top quartile means that a council is in the top quarter of all english councils, while bottom quartile means that a council is in the bottom quarter in terms of performance. The table also shows the district council average for all district councils in England.

BVPI Update
The 2006 BVPI Survey will be the last BVPI to be carried out by local authorities. The BVPI Survey was devised by central government and was carried out in 2000,2003 and 2006. This consultation has now been replaced by the Place Survey which will be carried out every two years. The Place Survey will be carried out for the first time during September and November 2008.
