Area Committees
The purpose of Area Committees is to ensure that decisions and services that affect local people are influenced by the views and needs of local people.
There are 5 Area Committees which cover different parts of North Hertfordshire:
- Baldock & District
- Hitchin
- Letchworth
- Royston & District
- Southern Rural (which includes the villages to the north, west and south of Hitchin as well as Knebworth)
The Area Committees each meet 6 times during the Civic Year. The dates of meetings for this year can be found on our Meetings Calendar, and the venue for the meetings are on the appropriate agenda.
Documents from previous years can be found in our archive.
If you would like to know more about our Area Committee meetings, please contact the Committee & Member Services Team on: 01462 474000, minicom 01462 474800 or email service@north-herts.gov.uk.
