All Out Elections in May 2007
On 3 May 2007 North Hertfordshire District Council will hold elections for all 49 seats on the council. This is because the Electoral Commission, a national body, has made a number of changes to the ward boundaries (electoral areas) within the District. This is to reflect changes in the population in some areas.
To check your Ward you can visit the Ordnance Survey® Election Maps web site at www.election-maps.co.uk/formFrame.
As a result of these changes, you may need to vote at a different polling station from usual. If so, the poll cards will give you all the details you need. Alternatively enter your postcode in our Polling Station Lookup service to find where to make your vote.
Postal Votes
If you are applying for a postal vote, you will now be required to give a sample of your signature and your date of birth. These will then be used as a security and identity check when you return your postal vote at election time.
