Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA)
Comprehensive Performance Assessment reported on how well a council was performing overall compared to other councils in England. In April 2009, comprehensive performance assessment was replaced by comprehensive area assessment (CAA) .
Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA)
Comprehensive Area Assessment is a new way of assessing local public services in England. From April 2009, it replaced the comprehensive performance assessment. The CAA examines how well councils are working together with other public bodies to meet the needs of the people they serve.
