Licensing Consultations

North Hertfordshire District Council are committed to listening to the residents of North Hertfordshire in order to deliver excellent services that are relevant to local needs. The Council consults with a wide range of people and organisations at many levels across all its activities.

In light of this and in order for North Hertfordshire District Council to maintain a modern, forward thinking licensing function, a full review of all licensing policies is undertaken on a regular basis.

The purpose for keeping its policies under review is to ensure that the policies reflect ever-changing legislation, statutory and best practice guidance and local needs. The policies assist both the trade and the public in understanding how licensing decisions are taken by ensuring that the process is fair and transparent.
