Replacing your Taxi Licence

It is a criminal offence to drive a licensed vehicle without wearing a valid driver's licence or without displaying a valid licence plate on the vehicle. Additionally, you should be able to produce the paper vehicle or driver's licence upon the request of a Licensing Officer or the Police.

If your paper licence, badge or vehicle plate is lost or stolen it is important that you inform the Council and apply for a replacement.
