Out of School Play and Sport
Play Rangers
Play Rangers will next be out and about during February Half Term 2012. For details of the sessions please visit our February Half Term Play Rangers page.
To receive a programme of sessions direct to your inbox, send a blank email to play@north-herts.gov.uk
Play Rangers offer children aged 5 to 13 years old free open access play sessions. Play Rangers supervise the children as they play outside in parks and open spaces. In some areas we work with local Children's Centres to provide play opportunities for children under 5 years old and their families.
The sessions are free and do not need to be booked. Children can be left to take part in the supervised activities although parents and carers are welcome to stay if they wish.
Opportunities may include: Arts and Crafts, Sport and Games, Junk Modelling, Den Building and Sand Play.
Junior Sports Clubs
North Herts District Council have put together a Childrens Sports Directory (1.91MB)
which contains details of all the sports clubs in the District that are running junior sessions.
