Sports Grants for Talented Individuals and Coaches

North Herts District Council is committed to supporting talented sporting individuals and coaches.  Each year, a dedicated fund provides grant assistance to North Herts residents.  This is administered through Sport North Herts, a Community Sports Network representing statutory, private and community organisations dedicated to delivering and developing sport.

Applications for Sports Grants for Talented Young Individuals and Coaches are currently closed and will open in September 2014.

For more information on sports grants contact Jess Young, Sport Development Officer on jess.young@north-herts.gov.uk / 01462 474257.

Grants for Sports Clubs and Organisations

Sport North Herts has a Community Sport Fund Grant Scheme. The Community Sport Fund 2014 is able to provide grants up to a maximum of £1000 to local sports clubs and community organisations.  There are a limited number of applications that the fund can support. This fund will open on Thursday 15th May and close on Friday 27th June.

The grant is available to help increase participation in North Herts by providing additional sessions or projects. The grant can be used for equipment, coaching fees, facility hire etc.

Please complete the application form and return it by Friday 27th June.

Sports clubs and organisations can apply for funding for specific projects from the North Hertfordshire District Council Area Committee Grants.  Clubs may also be able to apply for grants to cover qualifications if it is for the benefit of the club.  For more information visit the Area Committee Grants page.
