The Mrs Howard Memorial Hall was Letchworth’s first public building and the focus of literary, musical and political life in the developing Garden City. Today it’s a Grade ll Listed building run by Letchworth Garden City Community Group and its halls and rooms can be hired by the local community and businesses. Resident groups include Funxzone after-school club / holiday club, Rap Aid, CHOICE Pregnancy Counselling and New Life Church.

The Memorial Hall sits between Howard Park and the Ball Memorial Gardens and is an extremely versatile building used by a variety of different groups.  There is a pay and display car park which is free after 6.00pm and Sundays, located next to the premises. The hall has its own site manager to assist with all issues related to hall hire, etc.

The four main areas for hire include the Main Hall, the Upper hall, the New Life Church Room and the Meeting Room.
