Place Survey Comparitive Data
While 2008 saw the first ever Place Survey, 6 of the National Indicators being collected were also collected by the Best Value Performance Indicator Survey 
(BVPI) which was conducted for the last time in September 2006. As the Place Survey and the BVPI Survey were carried out during the same time of year and used the same consultation method (postal questionnaire) it is possible to benchmark and monitor the satisfaction trends. The 6 Place Survey Indicators from the table above which were also asked in the BVPI Survey were NI1, NI4, NI5, NI23, NI41 and NI42.
As well as the 6 National Indicators from the 2008 Place Survey which were directly comparable with the 2006 BVPI, there were also a number of non National Indicators questions from the 2006 BVPI survey which were repeated in the 2008 Place Survey.
