Forthcoming elections
North Hertfordshire District Council administers elections as required by law.
A third of the Council is elected each year with the elections being held in May.
We administer other elections including:
- County Councillors for Hertfordshire elected every four years
- Parish Council elections which are held every four years
- Parliamentary elections which are called by the Government
- European elections take place in June and are held on a five-year cycle
In order to vote at any election your name must appear on the Electoral Register.
