Queen Street (Evacustes A Phipson)
Queen Street was very densely populated from the 18th century onwards, as the mechanisation of agriculture drove more and more people into the towns.
It was housing like this which by the mid 19th century had become slums, with totally inadequate sanitation and water supply.
