Markets
Our markets are found in the traditional market towns of Hitchin and Royston and offer more than just a shopping trip.
North Herts District Council run 6 regular weekly markets over 4 days.
- Hitchin Market - Tuesday, Friday and Saturday
- Royston Market - Wednesday and Saturday
- Specialist and Farmers' Markets
The Markets are renowned for their fun and friendly atmosphere, and for their historic reputations. All our markets are packed with a wide variety of clothing, food and gardening, DIY and household goods. The traders are also full of advice and helpful hints.
Whilst some families have been trading on our markets for generations, we constantly seek new and unusual commodities. This ensures a fresh and vibrant feel to all of our markets.
Stalls are also available for fund raising purposes.
Traders are required to adhere to The Shoppers Charter, which installs confidence to our customers by guaranteeing a refund or credit note should the customer not be completely satisfied with their purchase.
