Building Regulation application fees differ depending on the type of application you are submitting and the nature of the proposed building work.

A Full Plans application fee is usually paid in two instalments. The first instalment, the Plan Fee, is submitted with the application. The second instalment is normally invoiced to the applicant after the initial inspection of the work has been carried out on site. A Building Notice application fee is paid in one lump sum upon submission of the application.

The total fee of a Building Notice and a Full Plans application are the same.
