All Other Work
The fee for any proposed building work which is not:
- A new dwelling under 300m²
- Domestic extension, garage or carport under 60m²
- Domestic loft conversion
is calculated from Table C and is based on the estimated build cost for the project.
A charge payable in Table C is based on the market value for the proposed work. DIY savings, VAT and professional fees are not to be included within the estimate. The estimate is for the work which is regulated under the Building Regulations 2000. For example, decorating fees are not included.
The estimate is to be a reasonable, written estimate excluding DIY savings, VAT and professional fees.
