Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment
The Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) considers the amount of land that is available for housing development, with particular emphasis on demonstrating that there is sufficient land available to meet future housing targets.
The inclusion of a site in the SHLAA does not guarantee that planning permission for development will be forthcoming there, nor does the exclusion of a site from the SHLAA imply that a site cannot be developed.
