Waste and Recycling Events
WEEE Takeback Events
The most recent WEEE (Waste Electricals and Electronic Equipment) events took place during January and February 2013.
The next WEEE takeback events are likely to occur during the summer period although dates times and locations are still to be confirmed.
The items we accept at these events are detailed below. Please note that these items can also be recycled at your local Household Waste Recycling Centre 
:
- Kitchen items (e.g. kettles, toasters, microwaves, blenders, bread makers)
- General household items (e.g. lamps, vacuum cleaners, irons, alarm clocks, electric fans, battery chargers, electric or battery toys and charging devices)
- Audio/visual equipment (e.g. televisions, VCRs,DVD players, freeview boxes, radios, hi-fis, games consoles, mobile phones and MP3 players)
- Health and beauty items (e.g. hairdryers, hair straighteners, electric razors)
- IT equipment (e.g. computers, printers, scanners)
