Community Wardens
This is a service provided by the Supported Housing section of North Hertfordshire Homes, offering you a weekly visit in your own home by an experienced member of their supported housing staff. Staff also respond to emergency calls between the hours of 9.00a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
The service is available to housing association tenants and private residents.
What is the aim:
To provide a contact who can offer help and support.
What services are provided:
- Weekly visit
- Response to emergencies
- Help in emergencies with collection of prescriptions, pensions
- Benefit advice/assistance with claims
- Meals on Wheels referrals
- Care and assistance arranged as required
- Reporting repairs
