Description

Weston Hills is a lovely Nature Reserve on the east side of Baldock. The site provides a diverse area for wildlife including woodland and chalk grassland.  The grassland is rich in wild flowers including orchids and the woodland attracts many bird species. The site has some interesting archaeology including ancient cultivation terraces and chalk workings. There are many paths throughout although some are steep. The site is carefully managed to keep a mixed habitat and encourage wildlife to flourish.
