Walks and Cycle Routes
North Hertfordshire's beautiful countryside is well worth a visit. Whatever your preferred mode of transport, there are a number of walks and cycle routes available to help you explore the district.
Walking
There are a variety of walking routes within the district which cater for all abilities. The routes Countryside Management Service (CMS) 
Museums staff occasionally arrange walks around places of interest in North Hertfordshire, both in the rural areas and the historic towns. Dates of future walks will be advertised at Letchworth and Hitchin Museum and on our Events
Archaeological walks in North Hertfordshire - the Archaeology Officer is available to conduct guided walks through parts of the district for parties of up to fifteen people.

Cycling
With the many health, and environmental benefits of cycling, Hertfordshire have both urban and countryside cycle routes for all ages and abilities to enjoy. Leaflets for local leisure routes or by contacting the CMS office.
