North Hertfordshire's beautiful countryside is well worth a visit. Whatever your preferred mode of transport, there are a number of walks and cycle routes available to help you explore the district.

Walking

Museums staff occasionally arrange walks around places of interest in North Hertfordshire, both in the rural areas and the historic towns. Dates of future walks will be advertised at Letchworth and Hitchin Museum and on our Events This link opens in a new browser window

Archaeological walks in North Hertfordshire - the Archaeology Officer is available to conduct guided walks through parts of the district for parties of up to fifteen people.
