Further methods of payment
Plastic swipe card
payments can be made at any Post Office. Cash, cheques and credit or debit cards can be used.please contact us to request a swipe card.
Standing order
Payments must be made in strict accordance with instalment details, and you remain responsible for the administration of this payment method.
Allow 10 working days for your payment to reach your Council Tax account and quote your Council Tax reference number when instructing your Bank/Building Society.

HSBC Bank, Station Place, Letchworth Garden City, Herts, SG6 3AJ.
By post
to Town Lodge, Gernon Road, Letchworth, Herts SG6 3HN. Cheques should be made payable to North Hertfordshire District Council.
Please write your Council Tax reference on the reverse of the cheque.
A receipt will not be issued unless specifically requested.
Please Note - Post-dated cheques will not be accepted.
When a payment counterfoil is attached to a notice, please ensure you use it when making payment by post.
The Council cannot accept any payments of Cash.
