Unauthorised Distribution of Leaflets
It is an offence under the Council’s Car Parking Orders and in the Environmental Protection Act 1990 to illegally distribute leaflets in North Hertfordshire District Council car parks.
If you wish to report the illegal distribution of leaflets in private car parks, please report directly to the property owner.
Parking Attendants constantly patrol Council car parks. They will respond to all offences being committed and will also report to the Enforcement Officers to take action if offenders are no longer on site.
If you wish to report an unauthorised distribution of leaflets in an NHDC car park, please contact the Enforcement Team.
