Homebuy
Homebuy is a home ownership scheme that is designed to help people on modest incomes who cannot afford to buy a home without help. The applicant does however need to be able to meet the long-term financial commitment of home ownership.
Information about the Homebuy scheme is provided on the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) website.
Information about qualifying for the scheme and applying can be found on the Lea Valley Homes website. Lea Valley Homes are a division of Aldwyck Housing Association. They allow applicants who are looking to rent or buy a property to register their details on one central database. They hold details of any schemes being developed in the Hertfordshire area and will match applicants requirements with the schemes on offer.
