Over 60's Bus Permit
Free travel throughout England for those aged 60 and over and living permanently in the North Hertfordshire District Council's boundary.
Documents Required
- Completed
Over 60 Bus Permit Application Form (24.5KB) (link opens in a new window) - One passport sized photograph
- Proof of age, for example: birth certificate, medical card, passport, pension
- Proof of permanent address, for example: Council tax bill, recent utility bill
- New applications are welcomed at anytime except those turning 60 during the year, these applications will only be accepted if within two (2) weeks of your 60th birthday. Your new permit will not be sent until after your 60th birthday has passed.
- Bus permits may take approximately 10 working days to be issued from date of receipt by the Council.
Documents required should be sent by post or brought into the Customer Services Centre, Council Offices, Gernon Road, Letchworth, Herts SG6 3JF
Council Office opening hours are: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5pm
