Over 60's Bus Permit

Free travel throughout England for those aged 60 and over and living permanently in the North Hertfordshire District Council's boundary.

Documents required

  • One passport sized photograph
  • Proof of age, for example: birth certificate, medical card, passport, pension
  • Proof of permanent address, for example: Council tax bill, recent utility bill
  • New applications will only be accepted if within two (2) weeks of your 60th birthday.
  • Bus permits will take approximately 10 working days to be issued from date of receipt by the Council.

Documents required should be sent by post or brought into the Customer Services Centre, Council Offices, Gernon Road, Letchworth, Herts SG6 3JF
