We have recently held roadshows to mark the occasion of Recycle Week 2009.
At the roadshows residents had the opportunity to find out more information on waste reduction, recycling and composting. Residents also had the opportunity to make a pledge and the residents who have done so were entered in to a prize draw. The winner has won a Love Food Hate Waste goody bag.
Real Nappy Week NappiccinosThe Waste Management Department of North Hertfordshire District Council has also recently held two Nappiccino Mornings to mark the occasion of the 13th Real Nappy Week.
Parents and parents to be had the opportunity to find out information on how to use reusable nappies as well as their environmental benefits, over a free cup of coffee.
There was also a prize draw and the winner won a real nappy starter pack.
