Play Rangers -Summer Holidays
For information on the summer Play Rangers programme visit our Summer 2009 page. Play Rangers offer children aged five to 13 free open access sessions in North Herts during school holidays. Trained rangers supervise the youngsters as they play outside in parks and open spaces, trying new resources and take on fresh challenges.
The new Play Ranger programme was launched by North Herts District Council at Easter and proved so successful that it is being continued. The 90-minute sessions are free and do not need to be booked. Children can be left to take part in the supervised activities although parents and carers are welcome to stay if they wish.
Opportunities may include... Arts and Crafts, Sport and Games, Junk Modelling, Den Building and Sand Play. More information will be available shortly on where and when these sessions will be running over the summer holidays.
