The Children's Services Team support a range of play opportunities across the District.

Rural Play Project

Funded by the Hertfordshire 513 Prevention Fund, the Rural Play project delivers and develops lunchtime, after school and holiday play opportunities for children aged 5 to 13 years old in our rural areas.

Caldicott Centre Play Support Project

Funded by the Hertfordshire Children's Fund, the Play Support Project develops and delivers play opportunities to children aged 5 to 13 years old living in Hitchin and the surrounding villages of Ickleford and St Ippolyts.  To find out more visit the Caldicott Centre Play Support Project page.  

Community Play Programme

Funded by the Big Lottery Fund for Children's Play, the Community Play Programme develops and delivers play opportunities in Purwell in Hitchin, Westbury in Letchworth and Burns Road in Royston.  For more information visit the Community Play Programme page.

North Herts Play Partnership

The Play Partnership is a group of individuals and organisations who care about play opportunities for children and young people.  The Partnership also oversees the development and delivery of the North Herts Play Strategy and contributes to the annual Play Conference.  For more information visit the Play Partnership page.
