Youth Services
Youth Clubs and Activities
North Hertfordshire District Council works in partnership with a range of organisations to develop opportunities for young people by providing guidance and support through our Community Development Team. A grant funding scheme is available for organisations involved in the provision of activities for young people.
Hertfordshire County Council supports and coordinates activities and clubs for young people aged 13-19 years. Information on activities for 13-19 year olds can be found at Channel Mogo

Participation and Engagment
We believe that it is essential for young people to have a say in services affecting them and for their opinions to be listened to by decision makers. Our Community Development Team support this in a range of ways:
Youth Question Time
On Wednesday 14th October, the fourth Youth Question Time took place at The Knights Templar School, Baldock. Based on the popular TV show, Youth Question Time provided young people with the opportunity to put their questions to a panel of local Councillors and service providers.

Youth Councils
Youth Councils operate in Letchworth, Hitchin, Royston and Baldock providing young people with a forum to voice opinions on a range of issues.
Youth Development Grants
Grants are available to community groups wishing to develop services for young people. For information on how to apply and eligibility criteria visit the Area Committee Grants page.
