Parish-Focused Grants
The Parish Challenge programme match-funds projects from £2,000 to a maximum of £15,000. As its name suggests, evidence of support for such projects from the relevant Parish Council is crucial.
The Parish Amenity Capital Improvement Fund (PACIF) is targeted specifically at upgrading parish / village halls and other rural community facilities, recognising that many were built up to 80 years ago and may have not had significant upgrades since. PACIF is now in its third year making a total of £1M available over a four year period at the rate of £250,000 per year, supporting projects up to a maximum grant of £50,000.
Both the Parish Challenge and PACIF funds recognise that projects may well run over more than one financial year.
The Parish Playground Challenge supports improvements and replacements to Parish Playgrounds up to a maximum of £2,000.
The Parish Enhancement and Cleansing Fund supports small-scale cleaning projects in parishes, up to a maximum of £1,300.
