St. John's Community Centre has the benefit of being situated next to a children's play area and a sports field. St. John's is within 5 minutes' walking distance from Hitchin Town Centre.
The facilities at St. John's include a main hall, smaller meeting room, bar area, kitchen, full disabled access and car park.
The centre caters for various interest groups including Keep Fit (some classes include a creche), Parkinson's Disease Group (meetings, as well as Yoga & exercise classes for Parkinson's sufferers), Youth Club, Bingo, Art Club, Scouts, Beavers, Cubs, Slimming World, Rosemary Conley, Lighterlife, Hitchin Friendship Centre, School of Indian Classical Music, Sewing Group, etc.
St. John's is an ideal place to hold a variety of social functions and parties, one-off meetings, as well as a venue for those wishing to hire the Centre on a regular basis.
