People 50+

North Hertfordshire District Councils’ Community Development Team are working within the Community to support groups and activities for people aged 50 and above.

The Community Development Team support and facilitate groups and assist in the development of new projects, working in partnership with other agencies to provide a wide range of activities that are tailored to the needs and interests of older people.

50+ Golf Discount Card

In partnership with the Chesfield Down Golf Centre at Jacks Hill, Gravely NHDC are offering a card that entitles the holder to a discount on the 9 hole par 3 golf course, Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm. New one stop solution to finding information and services for older people in Hertfordshire

The directory was put together by the 50+ Team in 2005, so some of the information may be out of date. The Community Development Team are presently working to find funding and sponsorship to update this project.

The 50+ Newsletter contains articles and information provided by groups and organisations in and around North Hertfordshire. There are a wide range of issues contained in each edition from Badminton to support for carers to name but two. If you are looking for interesting days out or clubs to join, there are plenty of ideas in the Newsletter.
