North Hertfordshire District Councils’ Community Development Team are working within the Community to support groups and activities for people aged 50 and above.

The Community Development Team support and facilitate groups and assist in the development of new projects, working in partnership with other agencies to provide a wide range of activities that are tailored to the needs and interests of older people.

50+ Golf Discount Card

In partnership with the Chesfield Down Golf Centre at Jacks Hill, Gravely NHDC are offering a card that entitles the holder to a discount on the 9 hole par 3 golf course, Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm. The Community Development Team are presently working to find funding and sponsorship to update this project.

There are a wide range of issues contained in each edition from Badminton to support for carers to name but two.
