People 50+

North Hertfordshire District Councils’ Community Development Officer is working in the Community with groups of  people aged 50 and above.

The Community Development Officer works to support and facilitate groups and to assist in the development of new activities, working in partnership with other agencies to provide a wider range of activities tailored to the needs and interests of older people.

Recent Projects include:

  • Producing a quarterly Newsletter
  • Working with the 50+ Dance Committee to organise Ballroom Events
  • Co-ordinating Health Walks and walking groups
  • Setting up new social clubs
  • Money Matters Event at Plinston Hall, Letchworth on April 21st 2007.
