Planning Control Committee Reports and Minutes

The majority of planning applications can be determined by the Planning Control & Conservation Manager under delegated powers from the Council, but some do have to be decided at committee.  With effect from 1 May 2007, one central Planning Control Committee will make decisions on those planning applications.

If your planning application is being decided by the Planning Control Committee you will be able to find the officer's report on that application by choosing the date to which it is being taken.

There is an opportunity for members of the public to speak on planning applictions at the meeting of the Council's Planning Control Committee.  The purpose is to allow applicants, their agents, objectors and supporters to make their views known to the Committee in person.  The leaflet Having your say on planning applications (31.5KB) at Planning Control Committee meetings provides more information.
