Planning Enforcement

The Town and Country Planning Acts give discretion to the local planning authority (LPA) in the exercise of its powers for the control of unauthorised development.  This document sets out the context for the operation of the planning control enforcement service in North Hertfordshire and the approach that the District Council will take in promoting compliance with planning requirements and dealing with breaches of planning control.

  • The address of the enforcement complaint; and
  • The details of the complaint.
