BackSupplementary Planning Guidance
Planning policies are contained within the Local Plan, which is being phased out by the Local Development Framework. Until 2004, the Council was also able to produce Supplementary Planning Guidance, giving additional information on certain aspects of planning policy. Some of these are still in use, but they are gradually being phased out by the Local Development Framework. As well as these SPG, there are also a number of Development Briefs which give principles for the development of specific sites.
