An exciting opportunity has arisen at North Herts Council for an entry-level position within the Democratic Services team, to provide support and services for Committee, Member, Scrutiny and Electoral services.
As part of your employment, you will study for and complete a Level 3 Apprenticeship
Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject.
You will be at the centre of the democratic process - dealing with people that want to be on the Electoral Register to be able to vote, as well as those that want to become a Councillor. You will provide support to those that were elected and assist with the administration of Council meetings, including the production of minutes and agendas.
You will need good interpersonal skills, you will be flexible, a team player, confident be able to converse with a range of people, including Senior Officers, Councillors and the public, you will also have excellent attention to detail.
