The easiest way to submit a planning application is to use the Planning Portal - the UK Government's online planning and building regulations resource for England and Wales.
Please note that current application processing times may be longer than normal due to an unforeseen reduction in staff. Every effort is being made to keep this to a minimum.
Registration is easy and you can complete your application form, upload supporting documents and pay fees online.

Planning Application Fees
The fee regulations allow local authorities to charge a planning application fee where permitted development rights have been withdrawn. Such applications attract the appropriate fee for the application.
