Bulky waste refers to items too large to fit into your refuse bin.
It is usually a piece of furniture or other item that you would take with you when you move house such as beds, sofas, TVs and white goods. It is not building or DIY waste.
If the item you wish to dispose of is in a good condition and could be reused by someone else, consider donating it to a reuse organisation such as Furniture Link or a charity shop.
Furniture Link in Letchworth is a charity which refurbishes and sells unwanted furniture. They accept all types of household furniture including beds, mattresses (must be clean), tables, chairs and sofas (with regulation fire safety labels).
