Lets4U is North Herts Council’s offer to private landlords. We recognise the vital role that private landlords play in providing accommodation in our district and surrounding areas.
The Lets4U scheme makes the process of renting your property as smooth and beneficial as possible.
Our package offers the following:
- deposit and rent in advance paid directly to you
- no agency fees
- introduction to new tenants
- Right to Rent check advice
- budget assessment to ensure accommodation is affordable
- landlord and tenant pack
- help to apply for direct payments for qualifying tenants
- ongoing advice and support from a dedicated officer
- three month follow up to check tenant settled in okay
- further incentives on a case by case basis
It is free of charge.
