The dictionary defines superstition as a widely held but irrational belief in supernatural influences, especially leading to good or bad luck. Why do we avoid walking under a ladder, take extra special care on Friday 13th, or tie boots to weddidng cars? Come along and find out the origins of these and some other popular superstitions - but make sure you don't spill any salt!
