Royston Cemetery East (Melbourn Road)

Melbourn Road Cemetery is situated behind Royston Football Club. 

The cemetery is closed for full burials. There is a new area for the interment of cremated remains and a dedicated section for child burials, both of which still have availability. Re-opening of existing grave spaces and already pre-purchased grave spaces will still be permitted. There is a dedicated section for child burials in the new section of the cemetery with limited grave spaces available.

Access and parking

• Accessed off the main A10
• A short walk from the town centre and railway station
• Limited parking is available within the cemetery
• Pedestrian and vehicle access is available all day and evening 365 days a year

Facilities

• Available for immediate cremated remains interments
• Re-openings of existing and already pre-purchased grave spaces
• Pre-purchase cremated remains grave spaces are available
• Dedicated section for child interments
• Scattering of cremated remains available by arrangement
