Under section 28(12) of the Localism Act 2011, NHDC must publicise its adoption, revision or replacement of a Councillor Code of Conduct - so as to bring this to the attention of people that live in the District area.
On 15 April 2021 Full Council resolved to adopt a new Code of Conduct which applies to all District Councillors as from 7 May 2021.
The new NHDC Councillor Code will be set out under section 17 of the Council’s Constitution and a copy can be found on the Constitution internet page as from the above date.
