Lidos in Hitchin and Letchworth
Letchworth Lido and Hitchin Swimming and Fitness Centre both have heated 50 metre outdoor pools and smaller heated pools for toddlers and younger children. The pools also offer:
- grassed areas for sunbathing
- cafés providing refreshments and snacks
- concessions for families, multi-swim tickets and swim memberships
- private hire options for functions and pool parties

The heated 50 metre outdoor pool is surrounded by a grassed sunbathing area, and includes a separate toddler pool. Refreshments and snacks are available.

Surrounded by a sunbathing terrace, the main heated 50 metre outdoor pool is complemented by a small pool and play area that is great for your little ones.
Splash pads
Our four splash pads in parks around North Herts open from 10am to 6pm, seven days a week during spring and summer.

Howard Park and Gardens, Letchworth
A popular 120 metre long paddling pool sits at the heart of Howard Park. Experience water jets, and paddle and splash about in the pool during the summer season.
Bancroft Recreation Ground, Hitchin
The buccaneer-themed splash park includes interactive water jets, tipping water buckets, a pirate ship and a play stream for younger children.
Priory Memorial Gardens, Royston
Royston's splash park in Priory Memorial Gardens is 160 metres squared and includes features like interactive water jets, a maypole and play streams for children.

The splash park at Avenue Park in Baldock offers water jets and lots of other water park fun for younger children and families of all ages to enjoy during the summer months.
