Planning policies are contained within the North Herts Local Plan 2011-2031, which was adopted on Tuesday 8 November 2022 and replaces the saved policies of the District Plan Second Review with Alterations.
Until 2004, the Council was also able to produce Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG), giving additional information on certain aspects of planning policy and some of these are still in use as shown below.
