Following the elections on 5 May 2022, results for North Herts Council have been counted and verified. North Herts Council now has 19 Conservative seats, 17 Labour and Co-operative seats and 13 Liberal Democrat seats. This means that there is no overall control of the Council. The Council therefore remains a joint administration.
The current Chair of the Council, Councillor Val Bryant, retained her seat by 871 votes and Councillor Elizabeth Dennis-Harburg, Leader of the Council, remains Leader until the Annual Council meeting on 26 May, where announcements will be made about the new administration and leadership for North Herts Council.
