What are your priorities for green space in North Herts?

To help shape the future of the natural environment in North Herts, such as our parks and green open spaces, please take a few minutes to complete a short online survey.

What do you value most in our parks and open space – being in nature and watching wildlife? Taking the dog for a walk? Play equipment, exercising or opportunities for sport?

Whatever it is please let us know to help inform our Green Space Management Strategy 2022-27 which aims to provide a sustainable, strategic approach for the future management of our green space.

We also want to know what you think our priorities should be for green space in the future – encouraging more biodiversity? Further improving play provision? Tackling vandalism and anti-social behaviour?

Councillor Steve Jarvis, Executive Member for Environment and Leisure, said: “We want to know what residents value most about our green space and what their priorities are for green space in the future, so we can direct our resources to what matters to them most.

“People are at the heart of everything we do so please take a few minutes to give us your views and feedback so we can protect and enhance our natural environment for everyone to enjoy.”

The survey should take about 5 minutes to complete and will be available until 30 January.
