Skate Letchworth returns with a covered real ice rink on the terrace of the outdoor pool at Norton Common, Icknield Way, from Saturday 19 November to Sunday 8 January.
Children as young as four can take to the ice, and it’s also a great activity for adults – group bookings are available so it’s the perfect solution for that office Christmas party or festive get-together! And the onsite café will be offering a variety of festive treats and hot drinks to warm you up while you’re there.
The Outdoor Pool and Skate Letchworth, among other leisure facilities in North Herts, are provided on the council’s behalf by Stevenage Leisure Ltd (SLL).
Councillor Steve Jarvis, Executive Member for Environment and Leisure, said: “The ice rink in Letchworth is a great addition to our leisure facilities and really helps celebrate the countdown to Christmas. If you don’t have time to put your skates on before the special day, be sure to book your visit before it closes in the New Year.”
