To manage your Council Tax account online, you will need to register for an account.
Through the Council Tax portal, you can:
- set up or amend an existing direct debit
- view your council tax information
- tell us that you have moved (for council tax purposes)
- apply for council tax discounts
- and more
If you are setting up your account for the first time, check your junk mail in case the activation email has been sent there.
Receive your bill by email
You can go paperless and receive your Council Tax bills by email with our e-billing service.
Having your bill emailed to you:
- lets you manage your account faster and more easily
- reduces clutter and waste around your home
- reduces the number of paper bills being sent out across the district
- improves security, as personal information doesn’t need to be printed or posted – it's sent straight to you.
You will need your Council Tax account reference number to complete your application. This is shown on your most recent bill.
