Norton Methodist Community Centre

The first part of the now extensive premises was built in 1914, extended in 1924 and the present main hall and other rooms were built in 1934. Following an arson attack at the end of 1996, in addition to damage rectification and restoration costing nearly £200,000, an additional £300,000 was spent over the following eight years to modernise and further extend the premises for community use.

There are now two halls and two rooms available for use with full kitchen and toilet facilities. The premises have been the home of the Letchworth Arcadians for over forty year and are extensively used by several under five groups and other local organisations. The premises are managed by a part time manager supported by volunteers.
